Tory Burch Fashion Show
Hello everyone!!! I know I haven't posted in a really long time! But I'm back! The fashion show was also a while ago... But I guess it's better late then never right! Anyway, on 11/16/11 I went to the Tory Burch Spring show at The Field Museum in Chicago. It was pretty small, guest count wise, but I was lucky enough to sit front row. I took a ton of picture but they were taken by my phone so they're a little blurry, but I'll share them anyway!
The collection consisted of hypnotizing prints, simple sequined pieces and effortless chiffon dresses to close the show.
Burch showed lots of oxford/golf shoe inspired shoes, along with straw platform slides and bow mary janes.
The hair, done by bumble and bumble, was mostly sleek bouffants and the makeup, by M.A.C., was very minimal.
After the show, Hal Rubenstein, fashion director of Instyle magazine, interviewed Burch. Asking about her inspiration for the collection and style advice as the holidays approached.
The guests were also graced with extravagant swag bags that included sunglasses, canvas bags, gift cards to Tory Burch boutiques, bumble and bumble hair products, macaroons, and hair salon certificates.

DIY #5
Hey guys, I'm back! Sorry I've been gone for a while, we had some visitors staying with us. Anyway, my friend and I made a ton of DIY to share with you! This one is a pompom necklace, sounds cheesy but it's totally cute.
Supplies:
-2 feet of pompom trim
-2 feet of chain
-5 feet of nylon cord
- 40-60 jump rings
-Needlenose pliers
Supplies:

1.) Tape the pompom cord and chain to a flat surface.
2.) Start attaching jump rings to the cord and chain. Before closing the jump rings again, string the nylon cord through the ring.
3.) Repeat step 2 until the pompom cord and chain is fully connected. Pull the cord until it's correctly placed in the middle.
Then tie the cord in a bow and wear! Isn't that so easy? I have a feeling I'm going to be making myself a ton of these!

Next Target collaboration....
Hey everyone!!! I have something very exciting to tell you. I'm a little late to do so, therefore, you might already know this, but I'm going to tell you anyway. TARGET IS DOING A COLLABORATION WITH MISSONI!!!!!!!! You don't even know how excited I am. It comes to stores September 13 with over 400 items. These include; womens clothing, kids clothing, babies clothing, bathing suits, tights and socks, mens ties, shoes, bags, suitcases, cosmetic cases, scarves, gloves, hats, blankets, pillows, rugs, kitchen ware, patio furniture, towels, shower curtains, electronic cases and a bicycle! The items are at Target prices, so the quality won't be top notch, but I will definitely be picking up some stuff. (: I'm going to put in some pictures to torture you guys even more, but don't worry to make it up to you, when were both fighting over a sweater dress, I'll let you have it (: See you at Target!
