Alexander McQueen lives on through Sarah Burton in the UK

Many of us fashionista's were very excited to see Kate Middleton chose Sarah Burton from Alexander McQueen to collaborate with on her wedding dress. Usually something from Burton or McQueen would be very edgy, pushing-the-limits, but what wore was not any of those things. Don't get me wrong, it was GORGEOUS, and showed off her teeny, tiny waist. It just wasn't what I expected. But enough negativity, she looked amazing. The plunging neckline was modest. The lace overlay was beautiful, and fit the criteria for an appropriate dress for a royal wedding in the UK. (You must cover your shoulders and arms for the ceremony.) And the lace detailing at the skirt was just the right touch. The dress was similar to Grace Kelly's wedding dress when she married Prince Ranier III of Monaco. But I would have to say I thought the best part was the tiara she wore, that was borrowed from the Queen. Kate's sister and  Made Of Honor wore Alexander McQueen too. A silhouette that was a very simple version of the brides gown. If you missed the spectacular event this morning, they're replaying it all day on several channels so be sure to catch a sneek peek of this amazing event.
